Autmi ("we", "us") helps businesses plan, publish, and respond to social media content. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account details: name, email, password hash, workspace and team membership.
- Brand content you provide: brand kits, captions, images, videos, and schedules.
- Connected social accounts: when you connect Facebook or Instagram, we receive the Page and Instagram Business account IDs and names you choose, and a Page access token that lets us publish and reply on your behalf.
- When you connect LinkedIn, we receive your LinkedIn member ID and name, the IDs and names of Company Pages you administer and choose, and access (and, where LinkedIn issues them, refresh) tokens that let us publish and reply on your behalf.
- When you connect X, we receive your X user ID, username, and display name, and access and refresh tokens that let us publish and reply on your behalf.
- When you connect YouTube, we receive your channel ID, title, and custom URL, and Google access and refresh tokens that let us upload videos and reply to comments on your behalf.
- When you connect Threads, we receive your Threads user ID, username, and name, and an access token that lets us publish and reply on your behalf.
- When you connect Google Business Profile, we receive the account and location IDs, name, address, and Maps link of the location you choose, and Google access and refresh tokens that let us post Updates and reply to reviews on your behalf.
- Engagement data: comments on posts published through connected Facebook Pages, Instagram accounts, and LinkedIn Company Pages, replies to or mentions of your connected X account, comments on your connected YouTube channel's videos, replies to posts we published to your Threads profile, and reviews of your connected Business Profile location (text, star rating, author name or username where available, and IDs), used to draft or send replies and to capture leads.
- Usage and billing records, and technical logs needed to run the service securely.
How we use Facebook and Instagram data
- Publish the posts you create or schedule to the Page or Instagram account you selected.
- Receive new comments on those posts and reply to them, automatically or after your review.
- Show connection status and errors in your dashboard.
We do not sell Meta Platform Data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties except service providers that host our infrastructure under confidentiality obligations. Access tokens are encrypted at rest.
How we use LinkedIn data
- Publish the posts you create or schedule as the Company Page or profile you selected.
- Read new comments on posts we published to your Company Page and reply to them, automatically or after your review. We do not read comments on personal profiles.
- Refresh or flag expiring access so your scheduled posts keep publishing.
LinkedIn data is used only to provide these features for your workspace. It is never sold, used for advertising, or combined with data from other sources to profile members. Disconnecting the account in Autmi or revoking access in LinkedIn settings stops access, and tokens are deleted on request.
How we use X data
- Publish the posts you create or schedule to the X account you connected.
- Read new replies to and mentions of that account and reply to them, automatically or after your review.
- Refresh access tokens so your scheduled posts keep publishing.
X data is used only to provide these features for your workspace. It is never sold, used for advertising, or used to build profiles of X users. Disconnecting the account in Autmi or revoking the app in your X settings stops access, and tokens are deleted on request.
How we use Google data (YouTube and Business Profile)
Autmi uses YouTube API Services and the Google Business Profile APIs. By connecting a YouTube channel you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
- Upload the videos you create or schedule to the channel you connected, with the title, description, and tags you set.
- Read new comments on that channel's videos and reply to them, automatically or after your review.
- Post the Updates you create or schedule (text and photos) to the Business Profile location you connected.
- Read new reviews of that location and reply to them. Replies to low-star reviews are always sent only after your review.
- Refresh access tokens so your scheduled uploads and Updates keep publishing.
Autmi's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. YouTube and Business Profile data is used only to provide these features for your workspace; it is never sold, used for advertising, or used to build profiles of YouTube users or reviewers, and people do not read it except to provide support you request, for security, or where the law requires.
You can disconnect the channel or location in Autmi at any time, or revoke our access from your Google security settings. Revoked access stops all further API calls, and stored Google data and tokens are deleted on request.
How we use Threads data
- Publish the posts you create or schedule to the Threads profile you connected.
- Read new replies to posts we published there and reply to them, automatically or after your review.
- Refresh access tokens so your scheduled posts keep publishing.
Threads data is used only to provide these features for your workspace. It is never sold, used for advertising, or used to build profiles of Threads users. Disconnecting the account in Autmi stops access; removing Autmi under Threads Settings → Account → Website permissions also deletes the stored token automatically. You can request deletion at any time — see Data deletion.
AI processing
To generate captions, images, videos, and reply drafts, relevant brand content and comment text may be sent to AI providers (such as OpenAI) that process it on our behalf and do not use it to train their models under their API terms.
Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your workspace is active. Disconnecting a social account or removing our app in your Facebook settings stops access; you can request deletion of all data associated with a connected account at any time — see Data deletion. Deleting your workspace removes its content and connected accounts.
Security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored in access-controlled databases. Tokens for connected Facebook, Instagram, Threads, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, and Google Business Profile accounts are encrypted with AES-256-GCM.
